Healthy Eating and Exercising?

My mamma is about 50 years of age and many older people out there have the same thoughts of being 'I'm too fragile too get out there and do the same things as their children would do' .

In which case, here in Malaysia, I agree that we're spoiling our parents and our older people a little bit too much. In any ages, being old is NOT a STOP to your life. The sentence 'I'm gonna die soon, so what is the point of exercising' are actually playing in their mind. No! To me exercising is more important to veteran people than we are (by comparison). We always have all these exercising programs for kids, teenagers and young adults and have forgotten that our older people also need out attention. We need to teach them exactly how to exercise correctly and with proper eating and dieting, few of the oldies diseases such as obesity, diabetics and cholesterol can be reduce significantly.

If you are sure that your parents cannot handle heavy workout then search the net for light workout for veteran. They have series of workout and its benefits to older people. I've seen older people feel young, and as active with their children even active with their grandchildren. Its not an excuse, really! I've saw an old man, jogging to the top of the hill with weights and I tell ya, that hill is like a mountain to me. It wasn't easy but that grandpa make it look like one.

Exercising and proper dieting can make you feel better overall. In life, work and exercising is such a stress reliever especially to those whose having stresses from work, stresses from home. If you want to make it fun then learn dancing. I promise you, if you love dancing around then go ahead. Or for more cheaper options, go to youtube and search for aerobic or zumba.

The first difficulties to incorporate healthy lifestyle at home is not about the food, its about exercising. How can we make people at our homes exercises and being healthy. Its not that hard really, 30 minutes everyday. That's all you need. Tons of video that can show you how to workout properly in 30 minutes duration. Exercising is a choice to your life. But it is you who can make the changes yourself.
