Best type of weather for Sea Activities

There are many type of sea activities that I do find it interesting and challenging. Most sea activities are very cheap and some could be really expensive. It really depends on willingness of paying in order to enjoy the experince. Sea activities that is avaiable in ay other islands in Malaysia would be:

1. Kayaking
Price Range: RM 60-70 per day

2. Snorkelling
Price Range: RM 30-50 per trip
Advisable: To bring you own Snorkelling Gear

3. Scuba Diving
Price Range: RM 200+

Bear in mind that the price range might be varied in different places in Malaysia. However, to enjoy the experience to the fullest is you do have to make sure that the weather is by your side and do not show any signs of storm / rain during the activities. Kayaking will cost you about RM 60-70 per day and you can definitely enjoy the activity if the weather is hot and sunny. You also didn't waste any money as you use it for the whole day. Now, why do I say that storm and rain is never a good condition for sea activities? Here's why.....

Sea waves is the beginning of all waves and is being derived by the amount of wind speed that it received to developed the waves and the length of fetch. In simpler term, fetch is the distance where the development of sea waves occur. Of course, later then the sea waves will stabilize and developed another type of wave which is swelling. We don't usually expose to sea waves as it happens in the middle of the storm area. What we do experience is the swelling wave.

Swelling is a type of wave that can be really dangerous as it is deemed unsuitable for any sea activities because of its huge in size. Again very dependent on the wind for the development of wave and the length of the fetch. 2016 is a good year for Malaysian if they want to go out for vacation in an Urban area. But I would say this year is not a good year to go anywhere near the sea due to La Nina.

Maybe some other time peeps, where wind does not take its toll to the sea waves.
