YHA (Youth Hostel) Liverpool

YHA liverpool is a 4 star hostel rated by Google. Situated at 25 Tabley St. L1 8EE Liverpool. I would suggest for travellers to stay at YHA as it is only 0.5 mile walk to Albert Dock. A famous dock in Liverpool to enjoy the extraordinary sea scenery of Liverpool. Don't get me wrong, you can't swim there. It is not a beach. But the scenery there is worth a visit. The good thing about this hostel, if I'm not mistaken,  is they don't provide mixed dorm. Females will have to stay in a female room and male will have to stay in a males room.For a Muslim like me, I found this very practical and safe.

Above picture shows the exact room that I stayed during our stay at Liverpool. The room consist of 8 beds with 8 lockers. It is convenient to the travellers as you can keep you belongings in the locker. The only drawbacks that I noticed was that there is no obvious sign whether or not the bed is occupied. You will have to ask your room mate, whoever that might be, which bed is occupied. Nonetheless, that drawback is considered trivial.

 

The lounge is spectacular. It is a place where you could hang around with other fellow travellers in a safe and secure environment. You could have coffee or you could cook in their common kitchen next door (Kitchen as figures below). Everything is provided for the convenient of the travellers. They also provide Wifi so you could hang around the lounge and surf the internet or Googling the best place to visit in Liverpool.

However, what if you have no smartphones to access the internet? (which is unlikely) Or what if your smartphones have limited battery life? (Most likely). Not to worries, you could ask for Liverpool point of interest map from the reception. The receptionist will brief you all the interesting places around Liverpool that you could visit. 

Quick question, how about Anfield? Most travellers would visit Liverpool because of Anfield, the famous stadium for the Liverpool Football Club. Yes, your thinking is correct. You could ask the reception to book Anfield Stadium tour ticker for you. It is as easy as that. Don't forget to bring you student ID along, if you have any, to get special student discount for the stadium tour. All in all, YHA hostel is committed in making travellers' travelling journey as easy and fun as possible.
