Arthur's Seat Scotland (4.5 Stars)

Arthur's Seat, name given to a magnificent hill in the middle of Edinburgh. It is situated in Holyrood Park and can be hike by all hikers and individuals that possess love towards great scenery and views. The best picture of the whole Edinburgh town could be taken on the top of the Arthur's Seat hill. It took about 20 minutes walk from where we lived and even though the trail was wet but the feeling once you reached the top is unbelievable. Edinburgh town is like nest for ants and bees where all the buildings situated way far from your view and only buildings could be seen. How small we are and how great is the Arthur's Seat.

The weather is a bit chilly and windy and it is advisable to have wind breaker jacket with you to fight the cold. The hike took about 30 minutes to a solid hour to reach the top. Great pictures could be taken at any height but my advise is 'you are already there, might as well climb to the top'. Always wear shoes that is meant for sports as the trail could be a bit slippery and muddy. Take a foot up at a time and don't rush things, you definitely don't want to call for an accident. Always watch you footstep while hiking as there is holes everywhere (Not sure if its rabbit hole - I didn't see any rabbits there).

A friend said that Arthur's Seat was once a ground for Camelot. Though it was only a myth. No sign of ruins is on top of the hill to prove that theory. Nonetheless it is definitely a breath taking place, another great adventures to fellow travelers for your Scotland Journey.
