St Giles Cathedral Scotland


St Giles Cathedral Scotland is one of the oldest church that is situated in Edinburgh. The church is situated just a few minutes of walking from Princess Street Garden. Google rated it as 4.6 stars out of 5 and is one of the must-visit historical building in the UK. The address of the church is High St. Edinburgh, Midlothian EH1 1RE Scotland and tt opens daily from 9 am in the morning till 7 pm in the evening except for Saturday (9am - 5pm) and Sunday (1pm - 5pm). The extravagant architecture of the cathedral can be seen from the enterior of the building as well as the interior of the cathedral.

The permit for photography is only 2.00 pound and can be purchased at the information desk. Admission to the cathedral is free however it is suggested that each person make a donation of 3.00 pound to the cathedral.

Unfortunately we went there when the cathedral is closed and failed to witness the extravagant interior of the cathedral that holds many history from previous years. However I hope that viewer of this page will further develop a sense of curiosity and finally visit the cathedral and witness by oneself the magnificent architecture of the cathedral.
