Blenheim Palace United Kingdon

Blenheim Palace is situated at Woodtock in the county of Oxfordshire. This particular country house deserve its name as a palace where the estate consist of numerous of gardens and park. The palace is been given to John Churchill as a token of gratitude from the nation for his effort and courage during the war. John Churchill, 1st Duke of Malborough is one of the influential military soldier that help England to achieve its place today. However, due to some political fighting, the Malborough's is been exiled. Not long after that the controversial place bear the famous event where the birth of Sir Winston Churchill, British Stateman that soon become the Prime Minister of England.

The estate have a remarkable area size as well as the cascade and lakeside walk that I considered a romantic place to visit with someone special especially in mid spring. However, it was the beginning of spring when I set my foot on Blenheim Palace. The weather was still cold, still having a scent of winter and the flowers were not yet bloomed. Instead of becoming a romantic park, it become a slight creepy place where the wind blew strongly until the trees making weird creepy noises. As if someone out there is watching you.

The trail is a bit slippery due to the light shower that day. However that didn't stop us to explore the estate and mesmerized the possible magical site of the compound. Some time you take a moment and start to think whether is it even possible mere individuals lived in the palace. But that is life really, and the owner of the palace gained its luck and able to enjoy every of its moment in the wonderful palace. I am soon to find mine, I'm sure of it.

At the Cascade
The cascade is as seen above was designed to hide behind few lines of trees so that we could here it from afar. The rush of water falls from above increase your curiosity to wear it is. Yet your eyes is being fooled by the trees and you can't see it from the naked eyes. I believe that the designer of the park have a splendid creativity in manipulating the human sense of curiosity. Once the cascade is seen, the visitor will definitely overwhelm with the spectacular sight. The admission to the park and garden is only 14.90 pound. However they do have concession tickets for students and it cost only 10.90 pound. For more details of Blenheim Palace please do visit http://www.blenheimpalace.com/tickets/.

I would say that Blenheim Palace is worth every penny spent.
